Description
This is quite simply a beautiful reflection of ice on the frigid waters of Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas during an exceptionally cold winter. After the frigid "vortex" that blew into north west Texas this year had passed and the sun was shining again and glistening on the ice, I ventured out with my camera securely strapped around my neck. I live on Possum Kingdom Lake in Texas, and the impressions that the cold wind and moisture had left on a freezing lake were amazing. Many shots were taken. Some were good, some were not. I particularly liked this one with the pristine blue of the water and the sharp reflection of ice on a limb in those waters. We're not used to these exquisite, frozen, natural, works of art, so this was an especially exciting treat for me.
