This is an image of some of the magnificent rock formations located in the Chisos Mountains near the Chisos Basin Campground at Big Bend National Park in Texas. If one looks closely at the amazing rock formations that surround the campground, it is possible to find many "mind's eye" images. I call this image "Big Bend Nativity" because it made me think of the nativity scene after the birth of Jesus. You can see it, can't you? On the left stand the eternal images of the three wise men with a small animal standing in front. I think it's a dog...could be a sheep. On the right you can see the Madonna holding the baby Jesus with an angel standing close by. Joseph stands behind Mary. This cluster of rocks stands in a crevice of the Chisos Mountains, and has been standing there for thousands of years.
