Description
his is the second in a series of images that I call "Love's Labor Lost." While traveling the backroads of North Carolina with my sister and her daughter, I kept seeing these old homes that had been deserted, and I thought to myself that at one time these homes were built with love by someone in order to give his loved ones a nice place to live, and a place to rear his family. Somehow with the passage of time, the old home place became deserted and no one lives there any more except various varmints...mice, spiders, raccoons...and maybe an occasional spirit or two. As a result it seems that the work of love started so long ago is now a bit lost. Sad, but a reminder of the beauty of the family that once lived there. This image would look lovely in your country home,or as a series in an office, bank or any place of business. Memories.

I love the way you see this old home through the wild grass. Also the beautiful red frames around the windows. I see a lot about this old home that someone used to love!
