Description
The photograph of this sleeping bear cub was taken at Bear Country Animal Park in South Dakota. This baby along with about fifteen other bear cubs were in a very large compound where they were playing and eating and this one was sleeping. As much as I do not like seeing wild animals in captivity, I have to say that the wild animals in this park are given large expanses of living space in which to roam which helped my heart a bit. If not for parks like this one, people like me would never get to see a wild animal up close and personal and so for that I am thankful. This baby bear is just one of many beautiful animals that are a part of our world.
