This is an original photograph of the roof of an old home that used to be somebody's haven. It is a part of my "Love's Labor Lost" series. I see these old homes and I know that at one time they housed a family who lived and loved and took shelter beneath that neglected old roof. I know that someone spend many long hours building that home to house and protect a family that was loved and dear. Now, the labor of love is deserted and forgotten, and only houses a few mice and birds, possibly snakes and other varmints looking for shelter. Maybe it even houses a "spirit" or two. You can never tell about these old homes where love once grew. This would be beautiful on any wall of your home or office and would make a nice grouping with the other "Love's Labor Lost" photographs. This photo would also make a wonderful small gift or greeting card for someone special in your life. Makes you stop and wonder just...
